Behind the scenes shots of Carlotta Champagne workshop
Hello friends,
I'm uber late with my posting of the Carlotta Champagne photos. My apologies, it has been a crazy, crazy month so far! At the rate I'm going, I'll see the Jess Robinson photos two months after I shoot them since Ali Sonoma is coming out two weeks after Jess! lol
These images are all registered with the US Copyright office, so I feel comfortable posting a few behind the scenes photos until I can get in there and crank out some Carlotta ones.

I have a good friend in Chicago. She's successfully making the move from general portraits, to Boudoir photography. Being that I've made the change backwards (Fash/Glam to gen ports) one of the things people ask me is:
"How do I make the transition from general ports to model photography while keeping my edge."
Look at Mrs. Kate Dwyer's work and she'll show ya. It's simple really, the connection is EVERYTHING!! As long as you have a connection with your client, everything else is secondary imho.

A couple from the outdoor workshop
Here's a few from the outdoor workshop. I'm beat, so I won't post much other than to say the weather was 48 degrees. The models were AMAZING!! They were troopers and didn't complain at all!
Of course, today was 75 and sunny starting at 10am! Heres a few photos. I didn't shoot much yesterday, just wanted to let everyone shoot and enjoy the process.
Soon as we started shooting, it was coooold. This was at 1230pm!! Genna weighs about 98lbs, no fat at all. Good job Genna!
As the day progressed, we headed back to my studio to get some shots. We got a car from the dealership on the corner and started shooting. Here we have a Photogenic 1250DR strobe with a 24inch Photogenic beauty dish. I will post images from that in a bit.
She’s really 40?
This young lady came in to the studio a few weeks back, she's 40 years young with an aaaamazing body and awesome attitude!! Love shooting her and she is from Afrika!! how awesome is that?
Rare..
Rare is it, that I find someone new, that I honestly can say I enjoyed shooting. Last person I can say that about, was a new model named Crystal. She was beautiful, fun, bubbly and sexy. I posted one composit of her a while back, haven't posted anything new. I will.
Today, I had in the studio, Samantha. I had only saw a head shot of her, and right off the bat I thought "She's gorgeous!" I was nervous of course, I hadn't seen her body LOL. We set up a few shoots and it didn't work out. Weather and other problems kept us from shooting. We agreed to set up a shoot for today at 630. I thought to myself: "Yea, sure, she's really going to show up" so I brought another model to a stream by my house. I've only shot four models there!! Anyway, Samantha shows up and WOW! I was stunned. She's not only intelligent, but shes gorgeous AND awesome to be around!
I'm dead tired, so I didn't clean up any image to perfection, but I will tomorrow! Here's one to hold you over:

Yesterday was CRAZY busy!
I had the lighting class, then right after, I had a one on one. I've gotten back in touch with an old model that I used to work with. I decided to give her this weeks job since it was good to be in touch with her again. After the one on one, she hung out for a bit and we shot some. Here's a photo
Shot using a Photogenic CL500 hot light. Continuous lighting for sure have their place in the photography world and I'm glad to have one!

Rumor has it…
That the famed Mr. UPS man is coming early next week with a package for a certain someone, from a certain strobe sponsor with a certain strobe. Some say it's a Photogenic PLR1250DR for a certain someone's workshops to make them easier and to show people what a REAL strobe should be. But that's just rumor.
