What is a model?
I bet you thought you were immune from my blog huh? 
As it turns out, you will get just as much commentary as the photographers on my blog. Models are just as important to the photography process, so you need to be addressed summarily.
Wanting to be a model takes more than good looks and a nice body. It takes dedication and attention to detail. It takes commitment above and beyond the weekend “wannabe†claim. I want to touch on a few things that I see common in my shoots, and many other shots out there. These are tips and tricks that will help you be the best model you possibly can.
Appearance:
High School Seniors
As part of a PPA Super Monday class of which none of the ppa guys showed up because PPA didn't get their crap right and kept the old date and old theme, I had shooting high school seniors the way I shoot them. It was 8 hours of shooting and learning and by the end of the day, the guys were wiped out! The first four hours were of shooting, the last four was marketing and sales.
Here's some of the images I took. They just don't make seniors the way they were when I was growing up! I told one of the moms that and she said "I agree! I had to have kids before my boobs ere her size" LOL

Redemption
After my last blog entry, I've been feeling the need to redeem myself lol.
Shot of T.L. taken about two years ago when I just got my shinny new 40d. Looking at these photos makes me miss it, I think after the new year, I'm going to get a couple of 7d's. Will suck to not have the full frame of the 5d, but I'll keep my 5d
Almost to the Carlotta Champagne shoot!
Hey guys,
Almost caught up to the April Carlotta Champagne shoot lol. Took a break to review the images worth editing and decided to clean one up. This image was taken with a Photogenic PL1250DR and a Photogenic Beauty Dish up high. Nothing for fill, just harsh shadows. Carlotta's skin is almost a milky white, so I enjoy editing her photos to make them all white.

Sorry it's been so long since I've posted, I'm working on a HUUUGE workshop in May 2010 and that's been taking up all my time. My wife got on me about not updating Club SuperShoot blog, wanting me to put more photos on there. We're keeping that site no nudes, so I went through my images looking for non nude images. Came across Danika. She came in to shoot test images for a magazine. I fell out of contact with the mag but will contact them again since I have some images to show them now lol.

This weekend and today has been GREAT!!
I started this weekend off feeling blah, then Saturday came and I had three EXCELLENT shoots! Three GREAT models and a ton of fun. Sunday rolls around and one model flakes on me at the last minute, but the other model follows through and she's ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL woman! I ended today's business day shooting a girl soooo sweet....and beautiful, that I just couldn't handle it.
G*D I love my job sometimes!

Some Carlotta Champagne..

Been a few days since I've updated, sorry. I've been in some horrible pain, so I've not had much interest in doing anything other than laying down sleeping. But I'm kinda back! and Got some Carlotta Champagne photos for ya!
These were taken one on one with her. I shot her the day before the workshop just so I could have something different. Carlotta is truly a great model and was a blast to work with! I've found, some Playboy models are great to work with, while others....nah, not so much. These all were taken with a Photogenic 1250DR strobe and a Photogenic 24inch white beauty dish.

Alright ladies and gentlemen, here's two more images from Samantha. In case you don't remember, Samantha came into the studio a few weeks back wanting to submit. I've sent off a few images to Playboy CyberClub and they want to see more photos and more info from her. Lets keep our fingers crossed eh?
